Delete your White Noise account

Use either route

You can request deletion from inside White Noise or through this page. You do not need to reinstall the app to use the external route.

Delete from the app

  1. Open Settings in White Noise.
  2. In Account, choose Delete account.
  3. Read the shared-account warning and confirm deletion.

Request deletion without the app

Email Salus Studios to request account deletion. If possible, send the request from the email address you used with Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google. If you used Apple Hide My Email, include the Apple relay address shown in your account details.

We will reply to verify that the account is yours. We may ask which sign-in provider you used, but we will never ask for your password, verification code, payment-card details, receipt, or raw purchase token. We respond within one month and normally complete a verified request sooner.

What deletion removes

Your Salus account is shared across our apps. Deleting it from White Noise or through this page deletes the shared account, not only its White Noise view.

  • Your authentication profile, email address, name, and Salus account identifier.
  • Your synced White Noise mixes, including deletion tombstones used to keep devices in step.
  • The link between your account and its White Noise subscription entitlement.
  • Any store-review access grant and other app data filed against the account.

Measurement is switched off in the White Noise app we ship today. The app creates no measurement identifier or related record, and there is no measurement setting to manage. If optional measurement is introduced later, it will remain separate from your account and email, with its own withdrawal control and retention rules. Deleting an account cannot identify a purpose-specific record that contains no account or email. Our Privacy Policy explains this separation without pretending an anonymous record belongs to a person.

What may remain

  • Apple and Google keep purchase and subscription records under their own policies.
  • Salus Studios may retain the minimum purchase, fraud-prevention, security, and accounting record required by law. Purchase records are retained for up to seven years and are not used to recreate your deleted app profile.
  • A one-way hash of the deleted account email may be retained without a fixed automatic expiry while it is needed to stop a delayed billing event from silently recreating the account. It cannot be used to contact you.
  • Anonymous aggregate counts that can no longer identify or single out an account may remain.

Account deletion does not cancel store billing

Deleting your Salus account does not cancel a subscription billed by Apple or Google, and it does not create an automatic refund. Cancel store billing separately if you do not want it to renew. Your account deletion request will still be accepted whether or not you cancel.
